Description:
The Nonstop Book of Fantastika Tattoo Designs contains a collection of black and white art by Hannes Bok, Ed Emswhiller, Lee Brown Coye, Jack Gaughan, Virgil Finlay, Boris Dolgov, Orchideengarten, Harry Clarke, Sidney Slime, and Vernon Hall. At the end of the book is an index that identifies some of the drawings.

Virgil Finlay related material:
The book contains the following Virgil Finlay related material, not all are identified in the book.

Notes:
The drawings on page 2 and page 192 are the same, where the drawing on page 2 is overlaid by text. The drawing on page 106 is incorrectly identified as 'Medusa' in the Art Notes. The drawing on pages 108-109 is incorrectly identified as for 'The Lamia in the Penthouse' in the Art Notes.

The book is advertised as a place to look for original designs of tattoos, but is in fact simply a collection of black & white drawings in the field of horror, fantasy, and science fiction art. Part of the drawings came out rather darker than they should have been, losing much of the details, whereas other drawings show so much detail that it is hard to imaging how these could be made into an effective tattoo. The use of the word 'design' in the title is perhaps a bit ambitious, where design 'inspirations', as used in the blurbs on the front and back covers, may be a better choice of words to use.
