This supplement of the The Burroughs Bulletin for The Burroughs Bibliophiles tells the story of the rediscovery of the original Virgil Finlay drawing. Hake’s Americana auction house offered his double-page illustration for part I of “The Quest of Tarzan”. It was sold for $1,405.55 on June 5, 2008. The original is now a part of The Howard Otis Barrett Memorial Collection of Edgar Rice Burroughs Illustrators.
