The Parthenon Marbles are a collection of Classical Greek marble sculptures (made mostly by Phidias and his assistants), inscriptions, and architectural pieces that were originally part of the temple of the Parthenon and other buildings on the Acropolis of Athens, Greece.

Block N XLIV shows the procession of the Panathenaic festival, the commemoration of the birthday of the goddess Athena, and is currently on display at the British Museum.

Virgil Finlay completed the head of the left most horse, and switched the positions of the two horses in the middle.
