The article 'virgil finlay et les "maitres" de la science fiction' which starts on page 3 lists what the editors call Virgil Finlay's illustrations for the greatest authors among the science fiction writers between 1936 and 1960, the so-called the masters of science fiction. In this sense it can be classified as an index to a selection of the illustrations by Virgil Finlay.
The illustrations are direct copies from pulp magazines, and are as follows:
