The Winston Science Fiction set - also known as Winston Juvenile Science Fiction series - comprises 35 science fiction juvenile novels by famous science fiction authors and was published between 1952 and 1961. Five Against Venus is the only book in this series with a jacket illustration by Virgil Finlay. A second printing appeared in March 1956, and a third printing was released in July 1957.

The fourth printing - June 1958 (price $2.50)- has blue boards.
