Tarzan

In 1941, 'The Quest of Tarzan' first appeared - in three parts - in the August 23, August 30, and September 6 issues of ARGOSY WEEKLY, with the first installment cover and one interior per issue by Virgil Finlay.

As far as known, only one original Virgil Finlay drawing has ever been rediscovered. That original is now a part of The Howard Otis Barrett Memorial Collection of Edgar Rice Burroughs Illustrators.
